Had limited time after arriving in TN to get a ride in before sunset so I did some one minute efforts at 350-460 and a 4 minute at 340 after the 3rd one minute effort. Rode the Cervelo P2 in time trial position for all.

Virtual Cleves

Rode well with an average watts of 351, 23:33 on the time. As the dFRC shows, I could still go harder, and I will. Building up to it with a lot of steady state efforts this fall and winter.

Training this week

I’ve done a couple of 20k Rouvy races at 320-330 watts. The other riders are great motivation to ride hard for this distance. Power seems good as I get ready for Florida in a few weeks.

Intervals this week

I did some 12 minute efforts outside in the Fayetteville area on my time trial bike on Tuesday. Power was ok, 290-310. I did the 30-45-60-90-60-45-30 power efforts today, 4 minutes between. Power was from 420w to 540w. Also did an 11 mile Rouvy race on monday at 310 and a 7 mile yesterday at

Last Week

Over the last two weeks I’ve ridden a 105 mile ride along with 2-3 days per week with intervals. Mosyt have been from 12-15 minutes at around 310w.
