Had a pretty good set of intervals today with 10×1 min on/off at 455w, 353w NP for 20:00. Would prefer those up above 460w but thats ok. Also did two hours of trail maintenance today.
Did Cleves last week and had a slow time at 23:36 but HR above 168 for 20:00 and 170 for 10:00. So, working hard but not getting the power. Could have been the TN TT the Saturday before, the two hours per day on Sun-Mon-Tues doing trail work, the 17 mile day the Thursday before and or the Monday night one hour of lifting and plyo. It all adds up to some pretty good training over 6 days.
I do need to work on my 20 min steady state power and will do that over the winter. I think I can get back to Cleves in 2026 and go low 23 minutes or even high 22’s.
