Cleve’s Time Trial

22:35, 27.35 mph give or take. Actually, looking back over now 19 years of data, that would be one of my faster first nights out on the course. Power was only so-so. I’m adjusting to a more aero position. I do think that 340 watts and that speed is pretty low on the power end.

5×3 power intervals

I used Heekin Avenue from Eastern to Ault park for these as its almost exactly three minutes. With my triple I can maintain 90+ rpms even given the 12-15% slope on the lower section. Held 424, 397, 397, 389 and 393. Pretty much in line with previous efforts.

101 miles, 10,800′ of climbing, 5000 calories burned; Gatlinburg to Newfound Gap to Cherokee, NC, back to Newfoundland up to Clingmans, down to Sugarland, out to Elkmont and then back home. Exhausting ride with the wind added in.
