Mainly getting in some endurance rides here in Juneau before I start the 600+ mile ride from Haines to Valdez. Its not a point to point as we do start outside some towns and end outside others. I did put in an hour today at 285w, the best of this year. I used an out and back 40k segment on Douglas Island for this. Had a strong headwind on the way out and was crusing on the way back until a mega-storm came in. Radar prior to leaving showed no rain for three hours but an hour later we had 60mph winds, hail the size of marbles, and a temperature drop of 10+ degrees. Had to walk my bike about 1/4 mile across a bridge as the wind made riding too dangerous. Anyway, off to Haines tomorrow with the tour starting on Wednesday.
