Back at the Waterford Hills Motor Speedway for these. Interesting course with all of the turns and the one climb. Didn't set any PR's or age group bests but won the 60-64 and had the fastest time overall each day with 13:57 and 6:49. Power was 327 and 353 respectively. Those power numbers are pretty much equal to last year. The 10k time is faster but we had rainy conditions last year. 5K time was 5 seconds slower than last year while power was up a couple of watts. Given the break in training over late May to early July, these efforts are fine. Had better power in South Carolina in May but that was a pretty flat our and back. This MI course has a lot of turns where power drops, at least for me, as I tend to let off the pedals for a few seconds and go to the outer bars. I think I maintain speed and don't risk running off the course. OH on Sunday!
